Important information: Part of the graphical optimization work has been to enable a new method for shadow rendering that has improved the performance in the main game world but may negatively affect sandbox performance. Currently you can change this back using the Engine.ini file (found under C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\WildLifeC\Saved\Config\Windows) if you want to by adding the line r.Shadow.Virtual.Enable=0 to the file under the [/Script/Engine.RendererSettings] section (add that line if it does not exist in your file). Later we will directly implement a toggle for it in the game video settings.

This tool allows you to convert any regular character pose to a full body controllable setup where you can manipulate arms, legs, fingers, toes, torso, head and extras individually using control objects spawned at the respective locations. After some intense bug-fixing this week we are now almost ready to release the last version of 2022. We fixed many crashes, the animation desyncing, a performance issue due to memory management, sandbox gizmo, and many other smaller things. Overall we have made massive improvements on the stability compared to the testing version from last week. Sadly there are still several issues that will require more time to fix, jittery physics are still there, as well as generally weaker performance, and the lighting and materials are still work in progress. But rest assured, things will get better in the coming year

It is time! We are very excited to announce that the new $25 build is almost ready to be released. Since this is the first version using the new Unreal Engine 5.1 there are still plenty of issues in pretty much all areas of the game. Lighting will be different, performance will probably be worse in many cases and there may be several other random things not working or even crashing so we advise to keep the last version you have around. If you encounter any problem please don’t hesitate to contact us on Discord or via email. This is all still very much work in progress and it may require a few more releases until we can consider the move complete.

As the Fisher Village with its demo quest line was getting in the way of the game’s development we decided to remove it. We stripped the Old Wild Life level of all assets as well, as there were many legacy assets that bloated the project.

If you have sandbox scenes that were made in the Fisher Village level, you can still open them by moving the respective files into a different level folder (e.g. from “%localappdata%/WildLifeC/Saved/SandboxSaveGames/MySaves/FisherVillage/” to “%localappdata%/WildLifeC/Saved/SandboxSaveGames/MySaves/Showroom/”).

Sandbox scenes that were made in the Old Wild Life level might need adjustments.

It has come to our attention that there is a problem with the rotation and scaling of image and media player props when opening older sandbox scene files. In order to keep your scenes intact we released a patch build to resolve this issue.

If you have encountered any image or media player prop with incorrect rotation or scale in the 2022.08.19 builds, you have two options:

1. Replace with backup file (you will lose any changes made in the 2022.08.19 builds)
Overwrite the respective scene files with their backup before opening the patch build.
The scene files can be found in “%localappdata%/WildLifeC/Saved/SandboxSaveGames/MySaves/”.
The backup files have the “.old” file extension.

2. Keep your current version (you will need to fix the incorrect rotation and scale manually)

Поэтому мы думали о том, как мы можем сделать что-то для всех.
Мы решили выпустить/подготовить еще один презентационный билд в канун Рождества нашего нового персонажа «Аой». Это очень простая сборка, но очень похожая на VR.
Эта сборка полностью вращается вокруг нашего нового персонажа, в основном это простая сборка презентации. И это для всех вас, поэтому мы решили выпустить эту сборку полностью общедоступной и полностью свободной от цензуры.
